Nickel ore inventories at Chinese ports dipped 50,000 wmt on week

Nickel ore inventories across all Chinese ports continued to trend lower this week, decreasing 50,000 wmt from a week earlier to 9.5 million wmt as of Friday April 17, showed SMM data.

SHANGHAI, Apr 17 (SMM) – Nickel ore inventories across all Chinese ports continued to trend lower this week, decreasing 50,000 wmt from a week earlier to 9.5 million wmt as of Friday April 17, showed SMM data.

 

This came after a decline of 430,000 wmt in the previous week.

 

In metal content, the stocks dipped 600 mt this week to 78,400 mt.

 

SMM data also showed that nickel ore stocks across seven major Chinese ports increased 30,000 wmt this week to 7.97 million wmt.
