As of Friday, inventories in SMM's mainstream copper market totaled 400400 tons, down 33000 tons from the previous month. Of this total, copper stocks in Shanghai totaled 296000 tons, down 12000 tons from the previous month; copper stocks in Jiangsu totaled 40300 tons, down 10700 tons from the previous month; and copper stocks in Guangdong totaled 64100 tons, down 10300 tons from the previous month.
Month-on-month before the Spring Festival (February 23,), SMM national mainstream copper market inventory increased by 185400 tons compared with the previous month. Of this total, copper stocks increased by 145000 tons in Shanghai, 20300 tons in Jiangsu and 20100 tons in Guangdong.
