SHANGHAI, Apr 16 (SMM) – Inventories of aluminium billet in China fell for the sixth consecutive week as of April 16 as arrivals remained limited.
SMM data showed that stocks of 6063 aluminium billet across five major consumption areas in China declined 5,200 mt in the week ended April 16 to 164,900 mt. This followed a decline of 4,100 mt in the previous week.
Inventories in Foshan, Huzhou and Nanchang decreased this week with the stocks in Foshan falling the most on the week. Meanwhile, stocks in Wuxi and Changzhou edged higher.
