SMM4, March 16: following the export of 75 tons of rare earth mines in February, (Rainbow Rare Earths), a rainbow rare earth company listed in London, exported another 100 tons of rare earth mines.

Production at the Rainbow rare Earth Gakara mine in Burundi has increased steadily and will increase further along with the increasingly dry weather and the input of five new trucks.

Rainbow rare earths said it would continue to export across its land border with Tanzania despite some border closures caused by the outbreak. The company confirmed that the impact of the outbreak in Burundi was limited to the closure of certain borders but would continue to export goods through the land border with Tanzania.
