[SMM Global epidemic data tracking] A total of more than 1.6 million cases have been confirmed worldwide, and these countries are also at risk of getting out of control!

Published: Apr 10, 2020 20:22

On April 9, there were nearly 81000 new confirmed cases worldwide, a decrease of 5000 from the previous day. As of 16:00 on 10 April, more than 1.6 million cases had been confirmed worldwide.

More than 460000 cases have been confirmed in the United States, and there is no sign of improvement in the new trend. The new trend in Japan has deteriorated significantly in recent days, with the number of new people rising to record highs in a single day. It is worth noting that India has a population of 1.3 billion, has a very high population density, the overall domestic health system is relatively weak, the number of new confirmed cases per day is more than 5, 000, and there are also confirmed cases in the largest slums in the region, the development of the epidemic is worrying.

At present, the investigation of asymptomatic infected persons in China has been carried out steadily, and the imported cases from overseas have basically achieved effective isolation; the pace of resumption of labor and work has been accelerated, and the opening time of schools in various localities has been basically determined, and various signs show that the domestic epidemic has been brought under control as a whole. However, the inflection point of the epidemic in foreign countries has not appeared for a long time. Although the major epidemic countries have basically adopted strict epidemic prevention and control measures, it is difficult to determine whether there will be a new regional outbreak, especially in India, Brazil, South Africa and other places.
