SMM4, March 9: affected by the epidemic, Nevada Copper has temporarily suspended the production activities of the Pumpkin Hollow project for at least six weeks and will be adjusted according to government measures.

In the meantime, the company's important mining services will continue.

In mid-March, Nevada Copper announced that it would continue its plans to increase production of Pumpkin Hollow underground mines despite many uncertainties in the macro environment. Since then, Nevada has imposed strict home isolation orders.

As a result, Nevada Copper has been greatly affected. At the same time, the company is considering cutting costs to maintain liquidity.

The Pumpkin Hollow underground mine, which went into production in December 2019, is expected to produce 6.5 million pounds of copper equivalent per year at a total maintenance cost of $1.86 per pound.
