B2Gold Gold miners produced another record 263000 ounces in the first quarter!

SMM4 9: recently, B2Gold released the first quarter of 2020 operating results, the Vancouver-based gold mining company gold production and revenue re-record. In the first quarter, the company produced 262632 ounces of gold, including Calibre Mining's estimate of 12000 ounces.

Specifically, the company's largest producer was the Fekola mine in Mali, which produced a record 164011 ounces in the quarter, more than triple the level in the same period last year. Revenues from the three operating mines, Fekola,Masbate and Otjikoto, totaled $380 million, up 44 per cent from the same period last year.

Due to encouraging results in the first quarter, B2Gold maintained its 2020 production guidance between 1000000 and 1055000 ounces and cash operating costs between $415 and $455 / oz. According to the company's current mining plan, the average annual production is expected to reach 950000 ounces in the five years from 2020 to 2024.

The miner said it would continue to protect against covid-19, and so far there have been no confirmed cases. In addition, after a week of disruption, the company's Masbate mine in the Philippines has resumed operations.
