It is understood that the inbound volume of some ports increased this week, while the inventory of individual bonded warehouses declined, offsetting the overall record of flat. At present, some overseas smelters have been shut down one after another, and the subsequent expected inward volume may be relatively limited.

[SMM Zinc Morning Comment: SHFE Zinc Night Session Pulls Back, Dragged by LME Trends] Overnight, the most-traded SHFE zinc 2611 contract opened at 25,995 yuan/mt. After the open, SHFE zinc consolidated, touching a high of 26,105 yuan/mt near the start of the session, then dipping to a low of 25,950 yuan/mt near the end of the session. It ultimately closed down at 25,980 yuan/mt, falling 135 yuan/mt, or 0.52%, with trading volume shrinking to 43,740 lots.
