SMM4, March 3: according to SMM, as of Friday (April 3) Shanghai Free Trade Zone zinc ingot inventory of 75400 tons, compared with last week maintained flat.

It is understood that the inbound volume of some ports increased this week, while the inventory of individual bonded warehouses declined, offsetting the overall record of flat. At present, some overseas smelters have been shut down one after another, and the subsequent expected inward volume may be relatively limited.

As of September 25, LME zinc stocks (registered plus cancelled warrants) stood at 123,400 tonnes, up 8,750 tonnes from September 21. Laurion reported that hole LBX26-112 at Ishkōday in Ontario intersected 6 metres grading 0.83% zinc from 96 metres, including 0.5 metres at 8.47% zinc from 97 metres. The hole tested a gap between earlier holes in the McLeod horizon. Exploration aims to improve geological continuity assessments and support evaluation of a potential maiden mineral resource estimate.

【SMM Flash News】Northmin Intersects 2.45 Metres Grading 14.08% Zinc and 10.79% Lead at Tynagh

Northmin reported drilling results from Tynagh in Ireland. Hole 3615-26-08 intersected 2.45 metres downhole from 106.75 metres, grading 14.08% zinc, 10.79% lead, 4.03% copper and 313.82 g/t silver. The first four holes of the current ten-hole exploration program have tested 125 metres of strike; another four holes have been completed with assays pending.
