SMM April 2: SMM aluminum alloy ADC12 price

12800-13100

ADC12 Price Daily Review:

[poor order ADC12 and original aluminum price difference slowly repaired] the price of A00 aluminum fell 220 yuan / ton today, only 100 yuan / ton from the recent low price. In the aspect of waste aluminum, due to the reversal of the wind direction of aluminum price and the general bearish price of recycled aluminum enterprises in April, recycled aluminum enterprises are now in the buyer-seller game stage. Recycled aluminum enterprises are more inclined to purchase high zinc, high iron and other high performance-to-price ratio waste aluminum and A00 aluminum mixed hedging costs. On the demand side, in April, affected by the overseas epidemic, foreign-related orders shrank sharply, coupled with bearish future, some recycled aluminum enterprises appeared to grab orders. Today, the cash quotation of large recycled aluminum enterprises fell to 13100 yuan / ton, and the center of gravity of cash quotation for small and medium-sized enterprises moved slightly down to 12800 million yuan / ton. Due to poor demand, there is still room for price decline. The current price gap between ADC12 and raw aluminum has expanded again. Jiangxi and other recycled aluminum enterprises have also begun to consider the use of A00 aluminum hedging costs. In terms of imported aluminum alloy ingots, the overseas quotation rate is relatively small at present. The price of ADC12 CIF in Ningbo is maintained at US $1450 to US $1550 / ton. At present, there is no willingness to import at home. Considering the significant increase in the price of waste aluminum, the price of SMM ADC12 fell 150 yuan / ton to 13,700 yuan / ton today.

Fed to Keep Large Banks' Capital Levels Unchanged, Postpones Stress Test Reforms Until 2027
The US Fed has announced that it will maintain the capital levels of large banks unchanged during the upcoming stress test cycle (corresponding to the 2026 cycle). At the same time, the US Fed is planning multidimensional reforms to this annual test, aiming to enhance its transparency. The US Fed's Vice Chair for Supervision, Bowman, revealed that adjustments to the stress capital buffer requirements for large banks will be postponed until 2027. This move is intended to provide the US Fed with sufficient time to evaluate potential flaws that may be exposed in its testing models when assessing banks' financial conditions under simulated economic downturn scenarios.
