East China NPI producer Lianyungang Haigan resumed production after 1-year expansion construction

Lianyungang Haigan Technology resumed production at the end of March and is expected to churn out 2,000 mt of NPI in April.

SHANGHAI, Mar 31 (SMM) – East China nickel pig iron producer—Lianyungang Haigan Technology—resumed production at the end of March and is expected to churn out 2,000 mt of NPI in April.

In March 2019, the producer suspended production in a bid to expand its capacity after furnaces got to the end of their service life.

SMM data showed that China’s NPI output stood at 42,100 mt in Ni content in February.
