SMM3, March 31: on March 30, the State New Office held a press conference on the resumption of manufacturing industry. Xin Guobin, vice minister of industry and information technology, was asked to brief him on the resumption of manufacturing industry and to answer questions from reporters.
At the meeting, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology said that China's ventilator capacity accounts for about 1/5 of the world's production capacity. An order of 20,000 units has been signed, and a large number of international intention orders are being negotiated every day. According to incomplete statistics, since March 19, while ensuring domestic demand, more than 1700 invasive ventilators have been urgently provided to foreign countries, accounting for half of the total domestic supply so far this year.
With the global protest struggle, ventilators have become a key role, ventilators have become in urgent need of supplies in countries with a large number of patients, and the demand for ventilators is still increasing because of the diagnosis of these countries and the increasing trend of severe patients.
As early as March 19, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo held a press conference to announce that New York had a shortfall of 25000 ventilators, and the state government had even sent people to "China, the largest manufacturer of ventilators."
According to the Hopkins University report, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services has estimated that 865000 Americans will be hospitalized in a moderate epidemic, about 65000 of whom will need ventilators, and if the epidemic is more severe, 9.9 million will be hospitalized and 742500 will need ventilators. According to U. S. media reports, the New Crown pneumonia outbreak, the American Hospital Association estimates that as many as 960000 Americans will need ventilators. So what are the companies that produce ventilators in the A-share market?
Relevant statistics show that in 2019, among the top ten ventilator brands in the Chinese market (ranked by sales quantity), only Shenzhen Milui, Shenzhen Koeman, and Beijing Yi an are local brands, and the rest are foreign brands from Germany and the United States. among them, the only A-share listed company background is Mirui Medical. At present, the medical ventilator from Merry Medical has been certified by FDA EUA (Emergency use Authorization.
Among them, ventilator listed company Yuyue Medical rose by an intraday limit on the 30th, hitting 41.91 yuan per share, a new high in nearly five years, and the stock price rose more than 38 percent in the last seven trading days. Yuyue Medical previously said that the company's order had been scheduled to the end of April, production from 300 units a day before the epidemic, has increased to the limit of more than 700 units per day.
Recently, Aerospace Changfeng recorded five trading boards in nearly seven trading days, but on March 26, the company issued a clarification notice saying that the severe ventilator Athena 8500 developed by the company is currently in the product registration stage, has not yet obtained China medical device product registration certificate, has not yet been mass produced, and has not formed actual sales in China. At present, the ACM812A ventilator business scale of the company accounts for a small proportion of the company's overall business. In 2019, the sales volume of the model is 201 units, the sales amount is about 3.25 million yuan, accounting for a small proportion of the company's overall sales revenue.
On the evening of March 29, Zhongding, a supplier of ventilator parts, disclosed abnormal fluctuations in stock trading, saying that the total order for ventilator-related products was 200000 sets, and the total revenue was expected to be about 59.7837 million yuan. However, it will not have a significant impact on this year's operating results.
In addition, Shenzhen Science and Technology, a listed company, said on the interactive platform a few days ago that the ventilator products involved in the company's medical device business were mainly produced in the form of OEM, ODM, JDM, etc., according to customer needs. In an institutional survey on January 21 this year, the company said that Shenzhen Technology has won the Best supplier Award and the Outstanding supplier Award for the world's largest ventilator brand.
Industry analysts believe that the reason for the popularity of funds is mainly due to a sharp increase in orders for ventilators. Dongxing Securities Research and report shows that during the domestic anti-epidemic period, domestic ventilator enterprises rapidly expanded production, Yuyue Medical treatment monthly cumulative supply of more than 7500 units, Yi'an Medical treatment monthly cumulative supply of more than 2000 units, Mingkang Zhongjin (Sperri) monthly cumulative supply of about 3000 respiratory support equipment, Mirui Medical monthly cumulative supply of more than 1000 units.
Some people in the market believe that ventilators are mostly used as a product of medical equipment enterprises. Despite the sharp increase in demand, it is difficult to determine the overall impact on the company's annual performance.
