Primary aluminium inventories dipped 3,000 mt over the weekend

SMM data showed that stocks across eight consumption areas in China, including SHFE warrants, decreased 3,000 mt from last Thursday March 26 to 1.664 million mt as of Monday March 30.

SHANGHAI, Mar 30 (SMM) – Social inventories of primary aluminium ingots dipped over the weekend, suggesting that the inventories may have reached a peak.

SMM data showed that stocks across eight consumption areas in China, including SHFE warrants, decreased 3,000 mt from last Thursday March 26 to 1.664 million mt as of Monday March 30.

Details:

Wuxi, Jiangsu – 654,000 mt

Shanghai – 164,000 mt

Nanhai, Guangdong – 438,000 mt

Gongyi, Henan – 185,000 mt

Hangzhou, Zhejiang – 140,000 mt

Tianjin – 57,000 mt

Linyi, Shandong – 11,000 mt

Chongqing –15,000 mt
