Malaysia launched anti-dumping probes on flat steel products

Malaysia has launched an antidumping investigation into flat-rolled products of non-alloy steel plated or coated with aluminum and zinc originating in or imported from China, South Korea and Vietnam.

SHANGHAI, Mar 27 (SMM) – Malaysia has launched an antidumping investigation into flat-rolled products of non-alloy steel plated or coated with aluminum and zinc originating in or imported from China, South Korea and Vietnam, according to a statement from the country’s ministry of international trade and industry released on March 13.

 

The probe was in response to an application from a domestic Malaysian company, NS Bluescope Malaysia Sdn. Bhd.

 

The products involved were under HS codes and ASEAN Harmonised Tariff Nomenclature (AHTN) 7210.61.1100, 7210.61.1200, 7210.61.1900, 7210.61.9100, 7210.61.9200, 7210.61.9900, 7212.50.2300, 7212.50.2490, 7212.50.2910 and7212.50.2990.
