West Africa Resources Company Sanbrado Gold produces the first batch of Gold

The Sanbrado gold project of (West African Resources), a West African resources company in Burkina Faso, has produced the first batch of gold, producing 24 kilograms, or about 768 troy gold.

So far, the Sanbrado gold mine has overprocessed 75000 tons of gold with a grade of 1.5g, with another 250000 tons of ore waiting to be processed.

Richard Hyde, chairman of West Africa Resources, said the transition from an exploration company to a gold producer was a milestone and marked a new phase for the company.
