Primary aluminium inventories increased 38,000 mt over the weekend

Social inventories of primary aluminium ingots across eight consumption areas in China, including SHFE warrants, increased 38,000 mt from last Thursday March 12 to 1.631 million mt as of Monday March 16. The eight areas, except for Henan’s Gongyi, saw their stocks gaining over the weekend.

SHANGHAI, Mar 16 (SMM) – Social inventories of primary aluminium ingots across eight consumption areas in China, including SHFE warrants, increased 38,000 mt from last Thursday March 12 to 1.631 million mt as of Monday March 16.

The eight areas, except for Henan’s Gongyi, saw their stocks gaining over the weekend.

Details:

Wuxi, Jiangsu – 639,000 mt

Shanghai – 152,000 mt

Nanhai, Guangdong – 417,000 mt

Gongyi, Henan – 210,000 mt

Hangzhou, Zhejiang – 128,000 mt

Tianjin – 58,000 mt

Linyi, Shandong – 12,000 mt

Chongqing –15,000 mt
