China rare earth exports fell 17.3% YoY in January-February

China exported 5,489.2 mt of rare earths in the first two months of 2020, down 17.3% from the same period last year, showed data from the General Administration of Customs released on Saturday.

SHANGHAI, Mar 9 (SMM) – China exported 5,489.2 mt of rare earths in the first two months of 2020, down 17.3% from the same period last year, showed data from the General Administration of Customs released on Saturday.

 

In December 2019, China’s exports of rare earths stood at 3,657.3 mt, bringing the full-year tally to 46,330.4 mt, down 12.6% year on year.
