Weiqiao lifted benchmark prebaked anode purchasing price for March

It raised the benchmark cash price by 210 yuan/mt to 2,830 yuan/mt for March, after it added 20 yuan/mt in February.

SHANGHAI, Mar 2 (SMM) – Shandong Weiqiao Group, the top aluminium producer in China, raised its benchmark purchasing price for prebaked anode for a second straight month.

The producer raised the benchmark cash price by 210 yuan/mt to 2,830 yuan/mt for March, after it added 20 yuan/mt in February.

March’s benchmark price by acceptance was set at 2,865 yuan/mt.
