Shanghai bonded copper stocks rose 20,800 mt on week

Operations at bonded warehouses basically recovered this week, but limited transportation capacity still affected cargo flows at warehouses

SHANGHAI, Feb 14 (SMM) – Copper stocks across Shanghai bonded area stood at 320,300 mt as of Friday February 14, up 20,800 mt from February 7, according to SMM data. 


Operations at bonded warehouses basically recovered this week, but limited transportation capacity still affected cargo flows at warehouses. Late resumption of some warehouses continued to see some copper cathode products stranded at ports.


SMM expects the bonded inventories of copper to extend increase next week.
