Wuzhou Yongxin commissioned phase 1 of its 100,000 mt secondary zinc project

SHANGHAI, Dec 27 (SMM) – Wuzhou Yongxin Nonferrous Metal has put the first phase of its 100,000 mt/year secondary zinc project into operation, SMM learned.

With total investment of 800 million yuan, the project, in South China’s Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, is expected to have a zinc recovery rate of up to 94%.

The first phase, with annual capacity of 42,000 mt, has ramped up to full capacity. The second phase is expected to see construction completed by the end of next year.
