SHANGHAI, Dec 23 (SMM) – China aims to see 5G network covering all its prefecture-level cities by the end of next year, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) said at the annual work conference on Monday.

In 2019, China launched commercial 5G services and commissioned 126,000 5G base stations, the industry ministry said.
