Daily crude steel output at CISA key mills inched up in early December

Daily crude steel output across CISA key mills averaged 1.97 million mt in the first 10 days of December

SHANGHAI, Dec 19 (SMM) – Daily crude steel output across China Iron and Steel Association (CISA) key mills averaged 1.97 million mt in the first 10 days of December, up 2,500 mt, or 0.13% from the November 21-30 period, according to the latest data from CISA.

However, inventories of steel products across those mills continued to shrink, decreasing 600,800 mt, or 5.09%, from November 30 to 11.21 million mt as of December 10.
