SHANGHAI, Dec 19 (SMM) – South Korea’s leading battery maker LG Chem Ltd. has seen the first stage of its battery manufacturing facility in Nanjing, Jiangsu province of east China reach mass production.
This came in line with the company’s expectations, after construction began in October 2018.
With total investment of $2 billion, LG Chem battery project in Nanjing, constructed in two stages, is expected to produce 32GWh of power batteries a year upon reaching full capacity in 2023.
