SHANGHAI, Dec 11 (SMM) – About 102,000 heavy trucks were sold in China in November, up 11.7% from a month ago and 13.8% from a year ago, according to the report by cvworld.cn based on data from the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM).
For the first 11 months of 2019, China’s heavy trucks sales amounted to 1.08 million units, up 1.6% from the same period a year earlier.
The report also revealed that sales of commercial vehicles in China, including buses and trucks, rose 12.3% month on month and 6.9% year on year to 400,000 units last month.
China’s sales of commercial vehicles in January-November saw a year-over-year decline of 1.6%, much smaller than a drop of 9.1% in sales of passenger vehicles.
