Guangxi Beibu Gulf to add 1 million mt/year stainless steel bar and rod capacity in 2020

SHANGHAI, Dec 10 (SMM) – Guangxi Beibu Gulf New Materials, formerly known as Beihai Chengde Ferronickel Stainless Steel, plans to build 1 million mt/year stainless steel bar and rod production lines in 2020, according to sources.

Meanwhile, it was understood that stainless steel cold-rolled coil capacity of the company will expand to an annualised 1.5 million mt upon the operation of its Xinyida project in Shandong province.
