DashboardDatabaseProReportsEventsCar InsightSHANGHAI, Nov 28 (SMM) – China imported 96,756 mt of copper scrap in October, down 41.15% from a month ago and 53.29% from a year ago, showed SMM calculations based on data from China customs.
The Cu content averaged 80.17%, suggesting that October’s scrap imports contained 77,572 mt of copper, down 41.41% month on month and 32.24% year on year.
For the first 10 months of 2019, 1.14 million mt of copper was imported to China in the form of copper scrap, up 7.31% from the same period last year.
