SHANGHAI, Nov 25 (SMM) – Social inventories of refined zinc across Shanghai, Tianjin and Guangdong continued to fall over the weekend, standing 500 mt lower from November 22 and 6,200 mt lower from November 18, at 128,800 mt as of November 25, showed SMM data.
Stable downstream consumption in Ningbo of Zhejiang province reduced inventories in Shanghai by 1,500 mt over the weekend; active stockpiling on lower prices also cut stocks in Guangdong by 1,100 mt.
Stockpiles in Tianjin, meanwhile, rose more than 2,000 mt as disrupted arrivals of high-quality brands lifted spot premiums and sidelined downstream buyers.
