SMM sets up subsidiary in Beijing

SHANGHAI, Nov 22 (SMM) – SMM has set up a subsidiary in Beijing, China’s capital city in the north, expanding its presence in the metals industry.

This came after the Shanghai-based metals information provider opened a new branch office in Foshan, Guangdong province in south China earlier this month and an office in Singapore in 2017.

The launching ceremony for the subsidiary was held at the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Annual Meeting 2019 and 2020 (SMM) Metals Price Forecasts Launch Event in Shanghai on Friday November 22.

The subsidiary, called Beijing Zhongzai Resources Information and Technology Co., Ltd., was jointly established by SMM and Zhongzai Resources Innovation and Innovation Institute (Beijing) Co., Ltd.

With the partner company’s expertise in resources recycling, SMM is expected to better serve the metals industry as secondary resources are looming large.
