DashboardDatabaseProReportsEventsConsultingSHANGHAI, Nov 21 (SMM) – Jiangsu Shagang Group plans to build two 2,350m³ blast furnaces, and to commission one in August 2021 and the other in March 2023, SMM learned.
This equates to 2 million mt of capacity for each furnace.
Meanwhile, the largest private steelmaker in China will shut four 480m³ blast furnaces and four 580m³ permanently, as Beijing does not allow new steel capacity expansion.
