Primary aluminium inventories shrank 3,000 mt over weekend

Stocks decreased by 3,000 mt from Nov 7 to 850,000 mt as of Nov 11

SHANGHAI, Nov 11 (SMM) – Social inventories of primary aluminium in China extended their decline over the weekend, as Guangdong saw greater inflows while Wuxi saw arrivals improving slightly.

SMM data showed that stocks across eight consumption areas in China, including SHFE warrants, decreased by 3,000 mt from last Thursday to 850,000 mt as of Monday November 11.

Wuxi, Jiangsu – 233,000 mt

Shanghai – 144,000 mt

Nanhai, Guangdong – 272,000 mt

Gongyi, Henan – 62,000 mt

Hangzhou, Zhejiang – 56,000 mt

Tianjin – 53,000 mt

Linyi, Shandong – 5,000 mt

Chongqing –25,000 mt
