SHANGHAI, Nov 8 (SMM) – Social inventories of silicon metal across Huangpu port, Kunming city and Tianjin port were little changed from a week ago, standing at 97,000 mt as of November 8, showed SMM data.
The volume of cargoes flowing in and out of warehouses at Huangpu and Tianjin ports, as well as in Kunming shrank from the previous week after concentrated shipments at month-end. Trades were subdued this week as higher silicon prices sidelined consumers.
