Aluminium billet inventories extended decline 

SHANGHAI, Nov 7 (SMM) – Inventories of aluminium billet in China declined for the fourth straight week as of November 7, even as downstream consumption slowed. 

SMM data showed that stocks of 6063 aluminium billet across five major consumption areas in China shrank 3,900 mt from October 31 to stand at 112,400 mt as of Thursday November 7, after the stocks dipping 1,900 mt in the previous week.

Foshan, Guangdong – 51,500 mt

Wuxi, Jiangsu – 20,500 mt

Changzhou, Jiangsu – 16,400 mt

Huzhou, Zhejiang –12,000 mt
