Hunan Valin Xiangtan Iron & Steel to put blast furnace under maintenance for 60 days
This is expected to knock out about 250,000 mt of molten iron production
SHANGHAI, Nov 6 (SMM) – Hunan Valin Xiangtan Iron & Steel in central China plans to put its one 1,800m³ blast furnace under maintenance for 60 days starting from November 9, SMM learned.
This is expected to knock out about 250,000 mt of molten iron production.
The steelmaker will turn to billets to plug the supply gap for rolling lines.
