SHANGHAI, Nov 6 (SMM) – Six cities in east China’s Jiangsu province, including Nanjing, Wuxi, Changzhou, Yangzhou, Zhenjiang and Taizhou have lifted orange alerts for heavy air pollution since Tuesday night.
Another three cities in the province, Xuzhou, Huai’an and Suqian, at the same time CST 20:00 November 5, downgraded the alerts to yellow level.
Jiangsu escalated the smog alerts to orange level across its 13 cities from CST 20:00 November 1.
Jiangsu’s move came in line with the notice from north China’s Hebei province that it will lift level II anti-smog measures in the northeast at CST 8:00 November 7 and those in central and south Hebei will be lifted at CST 8:00 November 10.
