Aluminium billet inventories fell marginally on week

Inventories declined for the third straight week as of October 31

SHANGHAI, Oct 31 (SMM) – Inventories of aluminium billet in China declined for the third straight week as of October 31, but at a slower pace as consumption weakened from a week ago. 

SMM data showed that stocks of 6063 aluminium billet across five major consumption areas in China shrank 1,900 mt from October 24 to stand at 116,200 mt as of Thursday October 31, after the stocks dipping 11,100 mt in the previous week. 

Inventory 

Foshan, Guangdong – 55,000 mt

Wuxi, Jiangsu – 19,200 mt

Changzhou, Jiangsu – 17,300 mt

Huzhou, Zhejiang –14,000 mt

Nanchang, Jiangxi – 10,700 mt
