Zinc social inventories declined 1,700 mt over weekend

Stocks decreased by 1,700 mt from Oct 25 to 136,700 mt as of Oct 28

SHANGHAI, Oct 28 (SMM) – Social inventories of refined zinc in Shanghai, Tianjin and Guangdong decreased by 1,700 mt from last Friday to 136,700 mt as of Monday October 28, showed SMM data.

Guangdong contributed to the inventory decline over the weekend, as limited cargoes arrived while downstream consumers purchased actively.

During the same period, stocks in Shanghai edged lower, while those in Tianjin inched up.
