Launch of SMM Copper Concentrate Index

SHANGHAI, Oct 25 (SMM) – The SMM Copper Concentrate Index is launched today to better reflect the spot prices of the copper concentrate treatment charge (TC) in China.

Weekly prices of Copper Concentrate TC stood at $59.83/mt today.

The SMM Copper Concentrate Index, which comprises of the weekly and monthly indices of imported copper concentrate TC, is generated and published in strict accordance with the SMM Copper Concentrate Index methodology.

The weekly Copper Concentrate TC Index is published on Friday, or the last trading day of the week if Friday is a public holiday. The monthly Copper Concentrate TC Index is generated by arithmetic average of the weekly index and is published on the last Friday of the month*.
