SHANGHAI, Oct 24 (SMM) – Linfen, the coal hub in central China’s Shanxi province and one of the most polluted cities in the country, lifted the orange alert for heavy air pollution, which is the second-highest level in Beijing’s four-tier pollution warning system.
The city issued the yellow smog alert on October 17, and escalated to orange level on October 20. The alert was lifted at CST 9:00 October 24.
