Primary aluminium inventories dropped 34,000 mt on limited arrivals

Stocks decreased by 34,000 mt from a week ago to 882,000 mt as of Oct 23

SHANGHAI, Oct 24 (SMM) – Social inventories of primary aluminium in China extended their decline this week, as arrivals remained limited.

SMM data showed that stocks across eight consumption areas in China, including SHFE warrants, decreased by 34,000 mt from a week ago to 882,000 mt as of Thursday October 24.

Wuxi, Jiangsu – 240,000 mt

Shanghai – 155,000 mt

Nanhai, Guangdong – 297,000 mt

Gongyi, Henan – 64,000 mt

Hangzhou, Zhejiang – 44,000 mt

Tianjin – 52,000 mt

Linyi, Shandong – 7,000 mt

Chongqing –23,000 mt
