In order to better reflect the actual change of spot TC price of copper concentrate in China, from October 25, 2019, SMM decided to publish SMM copper concentrate index, including imported copper concentrate TC (weekly) index and imported copper concentrate TC (monthly) index, according to the announced SMM copper concentrate index methodology. Among them, the imported copper concentrate TC (weekly) index is obtained in strict accordance with the methodological steps of the SMM copper concentrate index and released every Friday (working day), while the imported copper concentrate TC (monthly) index is obtained on arithmetic average according to the imported copper concentrate TC (weekly) index released that month and released on the last Friday of the month (working day). Due to the incomplete weekly copper concentrate index data in October, the TC (monthly) index of imported copper concentrate began to release the TC (monthly) index of imported copper concentrate in November.

In addition, the copper concentrate processing fee quotation (weekly and monthly) under the copper products of the original SMM page will be updated from October 25, 2019. SMM price members can still query the previous copper concentrate processing fee quotation (weekly and monthly) information on the historical quotation page.
