Primary aluminium inventories shrank 21,000 mt over weekend

Cargoes flowing out of social warehouses increased during Oct 17-21

SHANGHAI, Oct 21 (SMM) – Social inventories of primary aluminium in China extended their decline over last weekend as outflows grew in most areas.

SMM data showed that stocks in eight consumption areas in China, including SHFE warrants, decreased by 21,000 mt from Thursday October 17 to 895,000 mt as of Monday October 21.

Wuxi, Jiangsu – 240,000 mt

Shanghai – 160,000 mt

Nanhai, Guangdong – 304,000 mt

Gongyi, Henan – 63,000 mt

Hangzhou, Zhejiang – 47,000 mt

Tianjin – 52,000 mt

Linyi, Shandong – 7,000 mt

Chongqing –22,000 mt
