This week, the overall spot price of electrolytic manganese in the southern region is weak and stable. The ex-factory price of spot tax in the mainstream area of the manganese triangle is around 11300-11400 yuan / ton, which is the same as last Friday's price. Guangxi spot quotation concentrated around 11400 yuan / ton, unchanged from last Friday's quotation, and a small number of manganese plants quoted at 11500 yuan / ton.

The first week of National Day market turnover is not much, most manganese manufacturers said that the current period order delivery, spot resources are not many, did not provide quotation. It has been heard that a small number of manganese plants in southern China have sporadic transactions of 11200-11300 yuan / ton, the spot price of electrolytic manganese after the festival has a small downward trend, and the sound of market price is a little calmer than that before the festival, but the current manganese price in Guangxi and the mainstream of manganese triangle remains stable as a whole, and there is no big change for the time being.

In terms of production start, in addition to a small number of manganese plants in the manganese triangle region, the high-yield energy production in other areas has maintained normal operation, and there are no plans to stop production or overhaul for the time being. A small number of manufacturers intend to reduce production slightly because of the current reduction in downstream procurement and avoid an increase in supply. It is expected that the operating rate of manganese plant in October will not change much compared with September, but the specific production situation in the later stage still needs to pay attention to the performance of manganese plant and downstream demand.

In terms of steel recruitment, Shanxi Taigang this week set the price of electrolytic manganese at 11450 yuan / ton, the same as the September purchase price, but the purchase volume was 600t, a sharp decrease of 1400 tons from September. In addition, the purchase of electrolytic manganese in Posco, South Korea, fell sharply by 3000 tons in November, so overseas exports are expected to decline in November.

Overall, it is expected that the spot price of electrolytic manganese will temporarily maintain a stable operation in the short term, but the price of manganese may fall slightly in the future, and market participants will see an increase in weak sentiment.
