Pennex Aluminium completes $23 million expansion Project in Ohio

SMM: Pennex Aluminium recently completed a $23 million expansion of its Leighton, Ohio plant, according to Thomas Insights. The 175-employee factory specializes in aluminum processing and extrusion for cars, buildings, HVAC, landscaping and off-road vehicle markets.

Founded in 1979, (Metal Exchange Corporation), a metals trading company in Pennsylvania, acquired the Leetonia plant in 2010. The main focus of the investment will be on new equipment to increase the company's products and meet market demand, and the expansion will create up to 50 new jobs.
