Primary aluminium inventories decline 9,000 mt over weekend

Stocks decreased by 9,000 mt from Sep 19 to stand at 957,000 mt as of Sep 23

SHANGHAI, Sep 23 (SMM) – Social inventories of primary aluminium in China fell over the weekend, as deliveries exceeded arrivals.

SMM data showed that stocks across eight consumption areas in China, including SHFE warrants, decreased by 9,000 mt from Thursday September 19 to stand at 957,000 mt as of Monday September 23.

Wuxi, Jiangsu – 289,000 mt

Shanghai – 184,000 mt

Nanhai, Guangdong – 263,000 mt

Gongyi, Henan – 85,000 mt

Hangzhou, Zhejiang – 51,000 mt

Tianjin – 54,000 mt

Linyi, Shandong – 9,000 mt

Chongqing –22,000 mt
