Silicon social inventories flat amid on-demand purchases

Prices of low-grade silicon trended downwards amid limited buying interest

SHANGHAI, Sep 20 (SMM) – Social inventories of silicon metal across Huangpu port, Kunming city, and Tianjin port remained unchanged from a week ago, at 61,000 mt as of Friday September 20, showed SMM data.

Traders and downstream consumers restocked, and kept the social inventories stable. Prices of low-grade silicon trended downwards amid limited buying interest.
