DashboardDatabaseProReportsEventsConsultingSHANGHAI, Sep 19 (SMM) – China’s Shenhuo Group said on Wednesday September 18 that it has put off the launch of its new aluminium smelter in south China’s Yunnan province, as poor weather delayed construction.
Under a swap with capacity in Henan, the project in Yunnan, with annual primary aluminium capacity of 900,000 mt, was constructed in two phases.
The Henan-based company originally planned to commission the first phase this month, and the second phase is expected to go into operation next year.
