DashboardDatabaseProReportsEventsCar InsightSHANGHAI, Aug 29 (SMM) – China’s exports of unwrought aluminium alloy declined 22.3% from June to 39,500 mt in July, showed data from China Customs, as exports of primary aluminium alloy A356 dropped.
CITIC Dicastal exported close to 10,000 mt of unwrought aluminium alloy to the US in June, and the volume shrank to only 22.61 mt in July.
Exports of unwrought aluminium alloy are unlikely to significantly pick up in the near term, as outflows via general trade will face a 15% duty.
July’s exports were 6.6% down from a year ago.
