To increase the use of recyclable materials and reduce plastic waste, Coca-Cola's drinking water brand Dasani will also be packaged in aluminum cans and bottles, and the company expects to launch canned Dasani, later this year and launch aluminum bottles Dasani in the middle of next year.

The project is part of Coca-Cola's waste-free World, which aims to make 50 per cent of the materials used in the production of cans and bottles recyclable within the next 11 years.
