The meeting introduced the opportunities and challenges facing China's lead industry, and focused on the analysis of the hot environmental protection issues encountered in the current industry.
In the absence of advanced and mature technical conditions, frequent changes in environmental protection standards not only aggravate the repeated investment of enterprises, increase the operating costs of enterprises, but also not conducive to the stable operation of enterprises. Today, with the stable output of primary lead and the rapid development of recycled lead production, the construction of waste battery recovery system in recycled lead enterprises is seriously restricted, and the recycling system needs to be further revised and improved. The industry needs a fair competitive environment to maintain the healthy development of the upper and lower reaches of the industrial chain. The meeting held that strengthening environmental governance and creating a better ecological environment is the responsibility and obligation of enterprises, but increasingly stringent environmental protection standards have become the bottleneck of the development of the industry. After the environmental protection transformation reaches the standard, the new problems (waste water, waste residue, equipment corrosion aging) can not be ignored, and there is an urgent need for new and advanced technology to follow up and solve them. In addition, the meeting also discussed the revision of the list of hazardous wastes, environmental taxes, group standards, production restrictions on off-peak production, and the operation situation of the lead industry.
