Aluminium billet stocks grow slightly on week

SHANGHAI, Aug 1 (SMM) – SMM data showed that stocks of 6063 aluminium billet across five major consumption areas in China increased some 700 mt from Thursday July 25 to stand at 83,400 mt as of Thursday August 1. The growth slowed from a rise of 1,600 mt in the previous week.

Foshan, Guangdong – 43,400 mt

Wuxi, Jiangsu – 14,700 mt

Changzhou, Jiangsu – 12,000 mt

Huzhou, Zhejiang – 8,000 mt

Nanchang, Jiangxi – 5,300 mt
